The images here show my initial rough story panels, each one of which was then hand drawn on a larger scale to give me more to work with when making the animatic which was posted earlier on this blog.
In my innocent, naive and most important enthusiastically fertile months at the start of this year I had the idea of having the entire video as being one "flowing shot" using masking layers and hidden cuts to make the piece feel like it was flowing continuously. Plans included having the camera travel through a free-standing door frame in the woods to take us into a front room, and a characters reflection climbing through a mirror. In retrospect I'm quite pleased I left these ideas on the cutting room floor as it all got a bit hectic...
